We had a great stay at Hi Hostel Jugendherberge in Passau. the location at the top of a hill offered a breathtaking view of the city. the building itself was clean and well-maintained. the breakfast provided was delicious and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We also enjoyed visiting the museum and the restaurant with its panoramic view. the walkway to the city center was well-kept, making it easy for us to explore. Free parking was an added bonus.

i had an amazing stay at the hostel in passau! staying in a historic castle was such a unique experience, and the view from the hostel was absolutely stunning. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting passau.

I loved staying in a historic building with magnificent views of the old town and the Danube. The location was amazing, inside a castle at the top of the hill. The cleanliness of the hostel was impressive, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Despite the climb, the experience was well worth it. I highly recommend this hostel for its unique location and great value for money.

We had the most incredible experience staying at the hostel in Passau's Veste Oberhaus castle. Living in the highest tower with an opera playing right underneath us was truly magical. The breathtaking view of Passau from our bedroom was unbeatable. The staff were lovely and always ready to help with recommendations for bike rentals and routes. The breakfast provided was delicious, and we especially enjoyed dining at the restaurant Das Oberhaus just outside the castle walls, with its spectacular view.

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, worth every step up the stairs. And let me tell you, those stairs were a challenge with my suitcase, but totally worth it once I reached my room. Plus, staying in a historic castle/fort was really fun and added to the unique experience. The facility was always in excellent condition and very clean, which I really appreciated. I also liked that I had the option to rent all the beds in the room for some privacy. The private bathroom was perfect too. And the breakfast? Well-organized, generous, and delicious. Can't ask for more!

On the downside, the location was a bit hard to get to. It's not only the 500 meter walk from the parking lot, but also the uphill climb that made it challenging, especially if you have a bicycle or a lot of luggage.
